Our Amazonite Alpine Earrings were inspired by summers in the Swiss Alps - in particular, the edelweiss flower. It's a special flower as it only grows along the cliffs of high altitude mountains and only the most adventurous would ever reach where they bloomed. Yet, despite the climate its tiny star shaped petals are bursting with energy and light. 


European tales tell of lovers travelling long distances to gather Edelweiss flowers to symbolize their everlasting devotion. 


The natural amazonite stones are a reflection of alpine glacier lakes - an almost exact color match to Lake Brienz in the Swiss Alps and a must go in your lifetime.
